About Borehole & Beyond
Bringing the drilling, water and technical details together.
Meet the founder
Antony Jennings has worked in the borehole and drilling industry for over 20 years. In 2007, he founded Synergy Boreholes, growing the business to become the UK’s largest contractor for geothermal drilling and water wells before selling the company in 2021.
During that time, Antony was involved in some of the largest and most technically challenging borehole projects in the UK. His experience includes major projects for hospitals, prisons, universities and schools, as well as large residential and commercial developments across the country.
That experience goes far beyond drilling alone. Antony has spent years dealing with difficult ground conditions, restricted access, pumping systems, geothermal installations, irrigation, filtration and the practical problems that can arise when complex projects move from design to site.
Borehole & Beyond brings that experience together in a more personal and straightforward service. Antony works directly with clients to understand what they are trying to achieve, identify potential problems early and put together a practical solution that works for the site.
Whether it is a new borehole, an existing system that is not performing properly, irrigation, geothermal work or simply independent advice, the focus is on clear guidance, practical problem-solving and getting the job done properly.

The work behind the water
Borehole & Beyond brings together borehole drilling, geothermal works and specialist water services. From an early feasibility conversation to installation support and fault-finding, we focus on how the whole system fits together.
Every site has its own constraints. Access, existing services, water demand and the wider building programme all influence the work. We start by understanding those details, then discuss a practical route forward.
Talk to us about your project ↗How we work
We discuss the purpose of the project, the site and the challenges before proposing the next steps.
Drilling, pumps, pipework and controls need to work together. We consider the interfaces as well as the individual tasks.
Clear communication and a sensible sequence of work help keep decisions grounded in what the project needs.
